Dudley at Talon Sportscars is a mate of mine, and I got to drive his VVC caged and Quaife LsD'd demo car around brands hatch. What a tool. I was doing high 57s and not 100% on it as it was not my car .
Also had a go in his granny-spec looking road demo car, light metallic blue and grey cloth. Total stealth. Tweaked suspension and brakes. I promise you it would destroy my Clio 172 and you would not look twice at it!

How hard would it be to make the front look like an MG metro?
I looked into this, to try and make a visual replica of my red MK1 MG metro turbo with a 200 bhp Rover 100 under the skin. I found a lot of info on a metro website, but I THINK the tailgate swaps over, front wings need a little artistic licence to fit and the front inner wings will need fabricating. Doors are a straight swap. The fuel tank is in a different place as original MK1s used to spill fuel directly onto the rear wheels under hard cornering. How hard would it be to make the front look like an MG metro?
That was off the top of my head so a few details could be wrong but it is doable if you can find the parts
