We just thought we'd let you know about something new that we are doing at this year's event.

For the first time we're opening up the track and inviting anyone to anyone with a rare, special or cherished car, giving a lucky few the chance to drive the Cholmondeley track.

A track experience with a difference

So if you're interested, places are strictly limited, but if you'd like to get involved

please get in touch with us admin@cpop.co.uk and provide us with some details and a photo of your car, and we will contact you with further information.

You can find out more here: http://www.cpop.co.uk/latest/blog/cheshire-track-d...

It says £50 per lap, per car.

How long is 1 lap?

1 lap for £50 ....

If that's true that's the most expensive track time I've ever seen.

Care to explain?

Super rich only?

I've got my name down for a lap, just because I've always fancied it.

Problem is I now can't do it.

So if anyone fancies a go and there's no places left, let me know.

It appears CPOP want a variety of rare and cherished cars to enhance their event.
I think charging them £50 per lap would make it worth my while.

I'm taking the 4 series so they wouldn't want to pay me for that, I just fancied driving the track.

Unless you get a number of runs at it you're probably going to be a bit underwhelmed, it's every bit as narrow as it looks on the OP's photo and you would only want to pootle round for the first run to get a feel for a couple of the tighter bits.......
