Where to hire a BMW M2?

Does anybody know where I can hire a manual BMW M2 on a track, here in the UK? My local BMW dealer tells me there are no M2 demonstrators anywhere, and I am desperate to 'try before I buy' - ideally on track.

Do know of any in the UK, but know of a company hiring them out in Germany at the Ring. Ideally weekend away

I have seen 3 demonstrator cars in the UK, not sure if they are manual though. Some dealerships are running them for a bit and they are for sale at the same time, check the approved used BMW website for this.

I'd be stunned if a dealer would knowingly allow their demo car to be taken on track outside of a corporate demo day.

Demo M2 at specialist cars Stevenage. DCT one though.

Apart from UK, if you consider a trip to Nurburgring or even better Spa Francorchamps, i know that RSR it taking delivery of some M2s during August.

A big track like Spa could be a great shakedown for a car like the M2.

Thanks guys for all your replies. Thankfully, my dealer came up with the goods - a white DCT - miracles do happen! Had about a 25 mile drive, and most importantly, an opportunity to experience the nature of the car. I had concerns about the loudness & general attitude/'angriness', but in 'comfort' everything is dialled down to an apparent but acceptable level, so I needn't have worried. DCT isn't for me, but overall I was very impressed, and the loud exhaust in 'sport' will of course be appreciated on my favourite road when the mood suits... with the windows down!
