Zolder Trackday. Tues 23rd and Wed 24th August.

I`ve driven past it many times but have never been there. I spoke to Chris a while ago about this date and we`ve chatted again today and I`m now booked on 
The website price is £249 per day, but Chris has offered a deal where if 3 or more people book in a group, he`ll do it for £199 per day.
Nick Dougill was there racing in the MX5 in the BRSCC SuperCup at the weekend and I rang him yesterday to ask what it was like. "Epic" was his first response. That was enough for me and that`s why I rang Chris to confirm this morning

We`ll be going over on the Hull > Rotterdam crossing on Sunday, arrive Monday to have a look round then the Trackdays on Tues & Weds.
It`s a 2 hour drive from Rotterdam or 2.5 Hours from Calais.
Dunno if anyone from here fancies going but I thought I`d share the deal seeing as it`s a fair old discount.
We`re taking the Golf and as it`s still in the School holidays, Lou can go too. Matt will be driving a few sessions and Cat will be there as a passenger only
All being well I`ll book onto the Mettet day on the Thursday too but I`m just booked on for Zolder at the moment.
If anyone has any recommendations of local hotels that are trailer friendly please let me know.

Great track. Didn't have any issues with the curbs They're very keen on noise though. 94dB drive-by when I was there. 2 strikes and you're out. I'm usually tested at around 96-98 static but tripped the meters at 112dB! After that I made a bodge end for the exhaust from a coke can (until it melted) and lifted for the 2 meters. You can see them in this vid'. First one is on the left wall at the start of the back straight and the other is on the right just after the crest approaching the hairpin.

Noise limits are 105dB ststic, 95dB drive by on the day.
Just for info, I`ve booked at the Hotel at the circuit, the Hotel De Pits .
I don`t think you can get much closer !
The thing that swayed it for me, apart from not needing to drive to the circuit was the pool. My wife liked that idea a lot and if she`s happy, that makes the whole trip better for me
After the Wednesday finishes, we`re driving down to Mettet for the trackday there the day after. A smaller circuit but it looks pretty good. Another of those `whilst I`m in the area, why not` kind of things tbh. I wouldn`t drive over JUST to do it, but seeing as I`m only a couple of hours away, why not

Did you go after we met at Spa in April or another time ?I`m fine on noise and unless something drops off I`ll have no issues
The more people I talk to, the more say it`s a great circuit to drive which is obviously the point of the visit ! Still nice to hear though

Where are you getting the dates from? We're looking for a date in June to tie in with a Ring TF or Spa but cant find any posted dates other than Petrolhead days.
That saying, a postponed trip till August could work, up to Cadwell, overnight from Hull then Zolder.......mmm, Have they avalibilty for 15 more cars??

The dates were from Circuit Days who were planning the day for August 2016. As Vixpy1 said, it was unfortunately cancelled due to lack of interest.
Sadly I`m not aware of any plans the have to run an event this year. All I can suggest is looking on some European TDO websites but I`m not aware of any upcoming OPL trackdays, teh Skylimits days are all sessioned.
