• 07:15 > Venue Opens
• 07:30 - 08:30 > Sound Testing & Signing on (You should have an email with the indemnity forms in)
• 08:30 > Mandatory safety briefing
• 09:00 > 2x 3 sighting laps (So both drivers of a car can get an eye in)
• 09:25 - 12:30 > Open Pit Lane
• 12:30 - 13:30 > Jam Sandwiches and a mug of tea

Looking dry and cloudy so far. Track day rules sometimes insist that windows need to be up, so if you have weak air-con, now might be the time to get it refreshed. Long sleeves are also required, even inside a tin-top, so bear that all in mind.

In one of them mentioned Caterhams? If so I'll be keeping an eye in my mirrors for you fast approaching

I've edited the opening post to be generic now. I'm going in my red 1996 Mazda RX-7 at a modest 300bhp on stock turbos and intercooler. My dad is going in his stock 2001 Mazda MX-5 NB S-VT. Brother-in-law will be there in his 1997 Mazda MX-5 NA with an OEM Torsen LSD and coilovers.

Last time I drove the GT layout was back in 2010, and my car used to fail the noise tests so I had to set the limiter to 5500rpm and turn down the boost.

Someone's booked at Renault Clio 275 on. I thought that was a prototype not in production yet? Could be a typo, or it could be one of the two in existence, and perhaps some people from the press are invited to drive it or something?

That would be me, I have no idea why I typed 275, I had been vaguely thinking abut calling it that because it has the Megane engine mapped to 275bhp, but then I thought it was a bit of a tosser-ish thing to do and decided against it. It seems my fingers didn't get the message!

If the middle of August is anything to go by, it will be pissing it down. Haven't the last couple of years been a bit hit and miss in August?
I'm really hoping it's a dry day though, even if it's cloudy and chilly.
The last few I've been to, I've just gone for it and had fun, but this time I really want to take it a bit easier and practice some specific things that I can't on the road, and I won't be able to do that if it's a wet day. It will also be my dad's first track day since learning to drive on racing sims, so it would be nice if he could build some confidence too.

I was wondering that too. Would love to see one in person and also not just driving slowly through some London street, but really going for it.
