Great track. Great driving too. Did it in the Trophy a few times after I did the Palmersport day in the single seaters. Even more impressed that your passenger was doing the pedally bits wink

Good car control, well nice to see. Glad to see you not granny-shifting, double clutching like you should. Hope your floor pan rivets held up.
Great reference/10

Haha thanks! There were a few Clios there. Like most technical tracks, good fun to razz about in a FWD car without TOO much risk...

Thanks for the video.

Very timley for me as I was considering doing my first track day (with BMW car club) in November.

I would plan on getting some instruction on the day, but would you say Oulton is a reasonable place to start or is it too technical/demanding/un-forgiving?
I'm off to Oulton with BMWCC for my first visit on Tuesday - I've done a few track days with them this year as well as Bedford with the GT circuit & I'm just hoping it won't be too cold/greasy early on, even though I'm only in a 250 bhp Mini. FWIW, there is the odd 'incident' on the BMWCC days - at Donington in the wet last time out someone unfortunately 'clattered' the Armco quite hard in wet conditions.

There's always going to be a risk of occasional offs on any trackday but hopefully Tuesday will go smoothly. Forecast is looking good so far, I'll see you there beer

if I'd got winter tyres, I'd have been swapping them over given the predicted temperature! As it is, my part worn Yokos & some caution will be the order of the day given it's my first timethumbup
