Sadly my alternator and bracket failed after a few laps. Depsite GSF delivering a new one by 2pm, the bodge i used to solve then broken bracket wasnt gonna work in anger. Massive thanks to the organisers and crew, the few laps I got were great. Also a huge thanks to the chaps in the racing Clio 200 next to me, i think it was Vanquish motorsport who offered tools, assistance and a good chat.
Will post the vids up of my few laps later this week.

I believe we were pitted in the same garage area, I was in the black E92 M3, all the M cars seemed to be having fun lol.
Yeah, sorry not to say hi. Spoke to your friend I think with the white one, drooling over the ARC 1k2s, definitely on my list, you have the same right? I have a short bit of video of your car in the morning beginning to find the limits of adhesion;), will mail you a link.

That's really more drifting than anything else. No lap records set I take it?

Ha, warching that from behind would be great, thank you muchly. Yes, Intrax 1k2 with ARC on my car too, I was commenting on how your car also had Apex wheels and AP BBK like mine. Seems there's a common list of parts for these cars.

Hi, That was me.

You certainly seemed to be having fun in that video biggrin

I managed to upload a quick video from the end of the day. It's a pain in the arse when your dash cam splits videos into 3 minute files with seemingly random amounts of overlap frown

I love driving in the wet, and I enjoy finding the sweet spot between grip/slide and staying just on the faster side of the grip.

I really enjoyed watching your video, you have that natural ability to find that sweet spot, just inside the edge of grip. It was a pleasure to watch, thanks for sharing. Great driving.

Thanks.

I've been really enjoying wet trackdays, as up until the last month I hadn't really had any.

Great opportunity to play with the car - certainly feel more comfortable keeping close to the edge rather than on it, but I'm getting the all important experience. Even managed to catch a few decent sized slides biggrinhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HoOtVgkO_o

I only checked one session, but managed at least a 2:48 yesterday without any real dramas and being very careful on Club and Woodcote for fear of becoming another pit wall victim.

A bit more confidence needed at the limit, I think!

Sadly thats about as much as this camera got. Only another half lap before the alternator failed.
