Silverstone GP 20 Feb - Circuit Days

Booked on this. Is anyone here on it too ?

Weather is looking patchy although long range forecast is not normally reliable.

Has anyone had experience of this circuit/TDO policy should the worse happen and the (potential) snow prevents running ?

Can't help much on the weather question except to say at the last foggy/icy days we did at Silverstone they've managed to get running even if a bit late and we asked the circuit to run straight through lunch to try to make up as much time as possible.

Joys of winter/spring trackdays I guess but there's lots of good days to be had, today would have been a cracker!

I have a place on hold - need to get a meeting rescheduled and see if the GTR has any juice left in its battery!

Last visit in November was foggy, icy and slippery - hope this is the opposite as not easy to put 660bhp down!!

This worked out well...cannot change meeting and the GTR's battery has died,,,oh well next time.

Special thanks to the guys that let us share their garage (Z3 and S5).
Was lovely at the end of the day as the track was pretty much empty, and got some pretty stonking laps in.
Had a great 'spat' with a chap in a Leon (Smiffy?) over a few laps, seemed very even.
Should get some footage up over next few days if antient PC can cope with the HD and 360 camera footage!
