Apart from the official BMW Ringtaxi, I've noticed a few other taxi rides available from other sources. Are these worth the money or is it best to stick to the BMW?

not sure of the others, but the BMW ring taxi experience was ace when we did it, thrilling, but safe in the knowledge that the cars (and drivers) were maintained to a very high standard.... the drivers question " do you want to go sideways or fast?" summed it up for me wink

Oooh, I'd have to opt for one of each, or perhaps a 'surprise me'

I used the BMW place with Dale Lomas, fantastic drive with a clear empty track, ideal for learning the lines and just how fast a M3 can go. Plus Dale is a pleasant fella to be around - I recommend him.

Thanks for sharing that, I'd not seen a lap from Dale before.

Here's a 'Tuition' lap with Andy in the N24 GT4 Aston from DN10, which amazingly was included in the cost of the DN event.

If you stay at sliders Guesthouse, Brendon will take you around in his Turbo MX5 for a few Euro's (I'm sure a few beers would also do the trick!)

He certainly knows how to Peddle the Ring!

Passing Porches etc at crazy speed and sideways through the corners in an MX5 is certainly an experience biggrin
