How I didn't end up in the barrier I will never know! Maybe not fighting the car and letting it spin saved me here (has worked in the past)..... or maybe just pure luck! A corner I have ran wide in the summer in the Kit car with no ill affects but the waterlogged grass spat me off BIG TIME!

And a short clip to redeem some credibility haha>>

PMSL yeah i realised afterwards i had rotated one set of footage and flipped the inboard!! doh! Too lazy to go back and correct!

Hehe good plan on the Lottery tickets.

The moment it violently pivoted towards the wall I had accepted I was in the barrier... Such a pleasant surprise when the impact never came.

The stance of the car doesnt look OEM, what are you running if you dont mind me asking? (I assume coilover and 20mm wheel spacers?) How do you find the 350z on track, I've yet to track mine.

Touches the wet track makes it go wide and then even more wet track after the rumble strip. Think if you didn't hit the wet patch on the corner you would of been on

I dont mind at all, I run 15mm front and 25mm rear without any arch fouling. Just oem dampers on Tein springs (something like 17mm Front and 14mm Rear drop).

Have found the car still rolls massively now we have given it so much more grip. I have bought a set of Tein Monosports and EDFC controller but luckily didn't get a chance to fit them before Anglesey!!

Really impressed with it on track for what it is. It is plagued with understeer and have been battling that. Now running a square tyre setup (245 AD08R all round). Hope to improve things with damper settings when the Teins go on and will be fitting camber arms as soon as possible now. The front just washes out far too easily.

Thanks for the faith Dan! I have ran wide there in the MK Indy on a dry summer day and never had any real issues but the waterlogged grass really did school me haha!

PS...Wales? Shouldn't you be out shagging sheep instead of flying about like a hooligan?

Nice one, you were trying hard enough smile

I bet the extra camber will help enormously with understeer. If it needs more brakes you can always go for a set from the 370.

To be fair this is the first red flag i have caused through driver error in nigh on ten years of consistent track time.

I do like to drift about a bit but never with other cars around me.

That's very harsh. You only attend spin free days I take it?!

In the spirit of fairness and moderation, I suspect the comment applied to the second video of sustained drifting. Not going to pass comment personally, other than I'd expect that would normally attract a black flag or three.

I was there too, I was with the guy that came over to you and showed you the video we got of you drifting, and then didn't want to shake your hand when you had all that mud on it!

I was well impressed with your sliding, fair play.

I dont think we were ever on the track at the same time, cant remember seeing you.

Totally fine at Anglesey as long as you are not doing it in traffic. I talked to the marshals about it as i know at other tracks it is an instant black flag.

Thanks Scott haha! Was mega fun! You guys seemed to be having an awesome time. That's my fav thing about track days! Every track day is like Christmas day for us all, everyone is so happy and friendly... Love it!!!

Hope to see you guys on another track day soon!

I didn't mean the spin, everyone has the right to spin off.I meant the drifting around the track and steering wheel spinning. Makes me nervous when cars drift across the track from side to side when I am near them.

Wellground, i can asure you I have no ego and i check my mirrors so if i saw you gaining on me i would do everything to get out of your way as quickly and safely as possible.

Likewise if i was gaining on you, i would give you space and overtake once you have given me invitation to... And i wouldn't drift past or anywhere near you either haha.

I too wouldn't feel comfortable with drivers you have never met skidding about near your pride and joy but i can assure you this isn't something I do. As said track days are all about friendly fun!
