Dont rule out the D01J's they are an excellent road tyre. Dunlop have brought out their new D02J, and this is supposed to be even better, although the sizes are limited at the moment.

Great in the wet even better in the dry

I am going mad trying to source some good road legal track day tyres for my Cerbera. Have been using Dunlop SSR's for the last year, they are superb but are now discontinued!

Second choice is Michelin Pilot Sport Cup, but research has indicated there not available until Spring, but my ideal sizes are'nt really an option!

Dunlop have suggested the D01J, but it looks a bit severe, & will be very noisey for road use, i still want to use the car for Sundays!

My research has suggested the Hankook rs2, or the Kumho V70A, what do you guys reckon, i really am in the dark now.

Many thanks for your help with this one, now that i have tasted 'trackday' rubber, i cant go backwards, i'm sure you know what i mean

I am running on 18" wheels by the way!

Guys, i'm now sorted thanks very much. Washy has very kindly done me a deal on his part worn Michelins, this should see me through next season, but be prepared for my dilema returning in a years time , that is unless the major manufacturers realize that there is a market for 18" road legal track tyres !

Many thanks to all on here, a particularly constructive thread from my point of view

From my research i'm not sure that Pirelli do a road legal track tyre, is this not the case?

Pirelli make a tyre called a Corsa which is a road legal track tyre.
this is not th Corsa System thaT was fitted to the GT3 RS

we fitted a set of these track tyres to Chris Ward Turbo not to long ago so he may be able to give you some feed back

The pirelli corsa ( motorsport) tyres are fitted as standard on the Noble M400.
I can vouch for them being a very capable track tyre.
Corsa kid, could you email me a quote for 225/40 18's and also 265/35 18's
On a side note if you can supply at a good rate it might be wort having a chat about a group buy for the noble owners club.
Cheers
Alex

Why did you write of the Dunlop Formula-R D01's? Noisy!? From just looking at them?

I had these on the Radical and they are very grippy.
