Anyone at Bedford on the 19th with RMA?

1st time at Bedford, enjoyed it, some nice fast corners, but cant help feeling that the lack of armco and general track furniture makes it feel a bit tame, and the openess of it means there is no real sensation of speed.

The venue was much nicer than most circuits though which made a nice change.

I didnt notice any photographers there, anyone get any snaps?

Shame that RMA will not be offering Bedford in 2006 hopefully another TDO offering OPL format will step-up.

I believe that Gold Track are offering a couple of dates at Bedford next year.

From a recent RMA newsletter ... "BedfordAutodrome — Saturday 17th December Sadly this will be our last event for the foreseeable future at what has been one of our most popular circuits for the past several years. Unfortunately to secure a calendar for next season we have to contract dates up to twelve months in advance. Without an undertaking from the circuit owners to limit the availability to track day organisations I fear the venue will be oversold and the relatively small track day market that enjoys the Autodrome will be dissipated."

Goldtrack days are normally sessioned but in a different way to most sessioned days: they run 2 sessions of 30mins in each hour.

I think we'll do open pit lane when we go to Bedford. it's a nice big venue and the noise limit cuts out the really rorty (is that how you spell it) stuff so I think we can all run together without me worrying about the backsides of my virgins.

I'm waiting for dates fom them just now...
