I was also impressed that the silver golf kept going - every time it went past it sounded like a surefire bottom end death rattle.

Could be tempted, probably in the MINI though

We'll see ;o) The MINI has been chipped, so should be about the same power as yours (although still karting around a little more weight) Cornering fun though; MCS likes lift off oversteer

easytrack. out of interest, what mpg do you get from the mini?

Not too bad, depends how its driven really: 29mpg @ 90mph, 26mpg @ 100mph, less when really going for it. Probably 27-28 day to day running. The chip actually improves ir!
similar to me then - i get 32 @ 80. places seem to be going quite fast on the bedford day - 6 gone since last night, 29 left

My Silver Golf - must've been the shopping trolley caught underneath!
