I expect some of you may have been there. Good look at the circuit if you haven't but are planning a trip.

Cheers, Gentlefoot - good link. I'm flaying the bike engined 7 around, obvious in the two vids taken from the side of the track - it was an excellent day, no big dings, well mannered driving.

Can't wait until the weather starts improving in the new year. Christmas project will be on the road by then...

Not a lot at the moment! First day booked is Cadwell in Feb, Gary's going along as well. Do you fancy it? Been reading the weight saving string... Christmas diet planned, probably won't go well...

Any bright ideas for winter entertainment? If it's too cold I can turn up in something with a heater... and a roof...

...Then there is the small matter of the 3.8 supercharged alloy V6 that I've accidently bought. And the bloody great american thing that its sat in. The trick will be to fit the lot, engine, intercooler etc, five spd box, IRS and LSD into the Mk3 Cortina General Lee.

It'll need a roll cage to prevent it from folding in two the first time that I put my foot down!

19 Feb may prove a little optimistic.

Gutted I'm not gonna be there on 19th. Brands is nice and easy though and saves me money in fuel and a hotel room.

Good luck with the new project - something tells me it may feel a little different to the blade.

Have a good christmas mate - don't eat too much, wouldn't want it to slow you down on 19th
