Well driven is a bit of an understatement, that's extraordinary. You can't even distinguish where the edges of the track are! I want a go!

Amazing. Prob the only time I'll see someone go around the karussel with a bit of opposite lock on. (Until next year eh Glenn?!)

I think his skill has been gifted to him by the sleeveless pullover he's wearing. It must be some sort of magical jacket

Now thats what I call a perfect trackday. Lots of oversteer (even in the straight) with minimal damage to tyres, brakes and engine. Just the very high probablity that you will wind up in the armco, but other wise a perfect day!!

Awsome

although I think it's easier to drive that sideways in ice & snow than in the dry or wet, as speeds involved are much lower.

I'm having a go at Ice racing in Sweeden Jan '06' so I'll know for sure & probably have to eat my own words (with a dash of snow )

ps - any tips from the pro's on does and donts in the competitive enviroment?
(have a pretty good ability at drifting in the dry & wet which i hope will be usefull)

PS Laurence, can't wait to get back over to Adenau asap this year! Just waiting for the NS to publish their opening times before unleashing my credit card on the ferry companies!

Would love to get a pax lap in the pug Fergus. Hopefully see you there some time in 06'. First mini trip for me will likely be 29th May. Hoping ring will be open for late afternoon session before Spa track day on 30th May.
Hopefully more laps later in the year.

Got a 220hp Caterham now, and just having a full cage fitted as we speak, so should be a fair bit faster than the pug!!!

Glenn - I already have the 750 euros earmarked, don't worry! Need to now decide if I should buy a trailer. hmmm....

Trailering my be a wise move for a Caterham mate, should be a blast round there though.

How many laps will you need to make the season ticket break even ?, may consider this
myself for next year.

Assuming they keep the cost of a single lap at EUR 12, then you'll need to do 750/12 = 63 laps or more and you're saving money. 3 good weekends, maybe 4 depending on traffic/closures, etc and you're away. I did 6 trips last year and about 117 laps (from memory!). Each lap was about 1/2 price. You also have the luxury of entering/exiting the circuit down at Breidschied and not feeling like you've 'wasted' a lap. Can be handy when going for lunch! Will also be handy for the new gaff!

Yes, noticed that entrance at Briedscheid when looking at the new place, must be a bit of a leap of faith getting on there though
as there doesn't seem to be much run on after the barrier ??
Especially with everyone hooning across the (Adenau ?) bridge
