Anyone from here at brands hatch 29 december

Just been to my first ever trackday at brands hatch. Managed to get my 205 GTI round the track all morning and home without breaking down which was a supprise, Although it does seam to be using almost as much water as petrol.

Anyone else from here go? what did you think of the day? personally i thought it was very well organised and everyone was well behaved.

I went to the one on 2 December. Had a lot of worries about whether my (J-reg) 318i would hold up, but the car was rock-solid, and the day was unbelievable

Came very close to returning for the session on the 29th, but 'tis the season the wallet runs dry... maybe in February!

Yep, I was there in my 200sx. Great day out, had some tuition from Wil Arif who was excellent, got me driving a LOT quicker - managed to add 20mph to my top speed on the straight!

Was your car the red one with twin Webbers?

no the red one was my mates, very clean car. Mine was the somewhat shagged looking black one. Being 1.6 i was getting left for dead down all the straights but through the bends the -ve camber ledas did well. Didn't see much of the 200sx on the track I seamed to always be out with loads of porsches.

Think the 6 of us who went this time and a few more will do another one before the end of march

Couple of mates did this day in their RX-7's, coudln't make it as mine's still off the road being fettled.

Sounded like a top day though.

I was there, 1st track day for me... Had a great time! I was in the blue 911(996) with aero kit..Also had a few spins in a track prepared white BMW 325i! Very tempted to go to the next one. Did anyone take any pics at all?

I remeber seeing the white 325. I had a few mates there with cameras. I haven't seen what there pics were like i'll see whats worth having and let people know.
