The novice track day at brand's was superb.I went in december last year and had a great day even though i put it in the gravel after just 7 laps! The event was well organised and the staff were very friendly and helpfull.all aspects of safety were covered and the breifing before not only answered our questions but put some of the more nervous among us at ease.I would recommend it to anybody interested in a trackday.I am doing one more novice day on sunday 15th jan with a 30 min lesson and can't wait to get on track.Hopefully after this i will go on to doing some more trackday's at various other tracks if my missus let's me use her car again.(well its our car but she say's its her's)You can use almost any car. There was a maestro and a lambo and other motors on track at any one time and a complete nutter in a yellow elise who was almost scraping the paint off my rear bumper at one point(only kidding!).Also some very helpfull people who lent me some tool's when i put it in the gravel(i think one was a mate of the nutter in the elise-THANK'S AGAIN,YOU SAVED THE DAY WITH THE JACK!!!)When i spun the car had to have the wheel's removed and the tyre's let down in order to get the gravel jammed in to the rim removed.the car had no jack as it has no spare wheel so a very nice lotus owner lent me his trolley jack which he had in the boot.I could not believe it when he pulled a 2 foot trolley jack from the boot of his red lotus. I will come better prepared next time and thanks to him my day on track continued.(sorry i don't know your name).Overall with 320bhp,no traction control,no track experience and on a wet and greasy track and my 65 year old dad as a passenger we had a ball!!
