What damage (if any) does taking the kerbs do?

I had to pay for refurbishing a set of 18 inch alloys after riding the kerbs at Bedford in a customer's car once during suspension testing

you can do it, but be prepared for damage if you're on low profiles

I haven't driven it since they put the new chicane in, but I don't remember ever having problems with the curbs, and I routinely use any part of the track that isn't green.

Only done bedford the once & havea Goldfish memory so can't remember how severe the kerbs are.

But in general kerb bumping can-

Put out tracking/alignment, damage wheels/tyres, track rod ends/ball joints/wishbone bushes or even the wishbones in worst case, topmounts, CV joints, dif front & rear, stress the suspension mount points, knacker the shocks etc etc

I rode the kerbs pretty hard through piff-paff and it "uncambered" my NSF wheel to such an extent that I ended up rubbing on the arches

avoid the kerbs (keep on the grass!)
