What revs did you have that measured at? I know in the past a few people have told porkies about the rpm in order to get it thru the noise test.... as long as you hold back going thru the noise meter on track...

they do simple 1/2 revs static test at bedford but also have 2 or 3 microphones around the circuit which are stupidly sensitive. i dont think there's any way in hell 108 will pass a 101 circuit !

Mark - you have any luck finding someone to take your place?

Francis - Last time I was at Bedford I passed the static test fine but got booted off the circuit early in the day due to the microphones round the track. They had (kinda) warned us where the microphones were on the circuit but even lifting off near them made no difference. I have got silencers since then.

108 is a manly emission!

The forecast is great now. It's our first event at Bedford and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm expecting about 60 cars so it should be a very civilised event with no queueing or anything tedious like that.

See you all tomorrow.

I was planning on getting there for 8 ish so i was gunna leave Richmond about 6.30. Ill prob hit M25 15 minutes later.
Im not sure to either go M25 way which is an extra 15 miles but hopefully will be clear for that time of day or N,C onto M1 less miles but alot slower run upto M1.

Brett

Brett, I would join the M25, I usually do when going from Kingston, much simpler.

And for the people heading up the M1 - the roadworks added about 20mins to my trip last week

Keep your fingers crossed - 14 days is the rule...

BTW - Good to meet you (and everyone else!) yesterday - its nice to put some faces to the bulletin board usernames! BTW - Brett, that AMV8 is loverrrrrly.

Also just to say thanks to all at Goldtrack. It was my first Goldtrack event and I thought it was professionally run, everyone was very well behaved on track and it was a generally superb day.

Cheers
