Haven't bought it yet, but I'll let you know when I do

There will be a whole load of us there, a Purple R33 GTR, a Silver Evo 7, a Silver CTR and whatever I'm driving at the time

Might be worth e-mailing me at Gary@northloop.co.uk before you go with the details of the cars going and I will do my best to get some pictures for you.

I will be there from the 1st september till the 7th September, so will be on track on the 6th, I will be there in my fiat cinquecento complete with rollcage, its black. I am going with my buddy, who is driving a white sierra saphire cosworth, very noisy complete with carbon bonnet.

Hopefully see some of you there.

If the cossie is too noisey it will be sat in the car park because it wont be allowed on-track

I will look out for you and your car

you mean the Nurburgring has a noise limit?

Yes - irregularly enforced. I think the limit is 95, but they gnerally allow 100. It is unusual too see them noise testing - but not unheard of.

Its getting more regular, seen a good few cars tested and turned away this year. At least one or two on each visit. Alot are brit cars which love to rev their engines or roar up the ajoining road when they leave the car park. Keep quiet and creep to the barrier and you may be ok. I would suggest taking a bung with you though.

Will mention the silent approach to the cosworth owner, it would be a nightmare holiday for him if he cant bring it on circuit, and would mean my poor little cinquecento would get even more abuse.

Stealth is the best approach, but its worth remembering the DB limit is 95.

Nope - that has sadly gone back to Gaydon. I will have a 350Z and a Zafira VXR along.

Will be meeting up with Mac and the others for a few days.
Won't have the Tiger or the 'Ring Civic driving - but whatever Fraulein Avis kindly gives me at the hire desk at the airport... (Obviously just to get into the car park and not through the barrier!)
