Anyone from PH doing this?

We've booked though BaT and are lead to believe it's the last track day before the cicuit gets re-developed.

I went at the Bank Holiday with Circuit Days because I wanted open pitlane. The works are well under way. I will miss the track. I did my first ever track day there and have gone back time and time again. That said, I'm looking forward to the new layouts. Hopefully we'll see some innovation in their use on track days to offset the inevitable price rises.

Showing on their site as "full" - damned shame, went there just the once, had a great time.

You can still pop along and then see if there's any space on the day - if not, blag some passenger rides instead.

Didn't have chance to check this post before going or since getting back...

Didn't get to meet anyone that went either except for those in the MR2 clan

Our Supercharged MR2 didn't make it as a rear bearing had gone and thanks to the wrong parts being sent from the main dealer. We really wanted the SC on Anglesey as we had done it a few times in the red N/A mad

We were there in the dirty red MK1 MR2 with the PH sticker on the rear window and black wheels in the end. We went for Novice as the car isn't quite as quick as some of the others even though we have done the track a number of times. Had a really good time nonetheless.

The first session was quite slippy, but made it a bit fun if not nerve-racking
After lunch we were managing to get entry speed into School at 75/80mph without braking and then downshifting to 3rd for Abotts on WOT. By the end of the day the only place we were braking for was Hairpin evil

Gutted the old track will be no more, but will be looking forward to the new track.

Some photos:

Says it all...

And the 2's...

Thanks to Mart in the grey supercharged mr2 for the pics.
