Apparantly you can get them with Accelerometers and the like. I want to measure the my top speed and 0-60/100/150 accurately...

Any ideas/brands etc etc

Driftbox?

Or if you're a bit of an electronics whiz you can get GPS receivers quite cheaply (c. £50) and a PIC microcontroller to log it to CF or display on an LCD shouldn't be too difficult to put together.

A DL-1 datalogger does all that plus a lot more. See www.drivedata.co.uk/ and look in 'products' for more details. BTW - I have no interest in this company but I have used them before and they are very helpful.

Costs 586.33 (inc VAT) though, compared to £465 (inc) for a DriftBox, and even less for other VBOX models.
