Has anyone driven PF international Kart track?
My best lap time in the dry was a 54.06 which i know isn't that quick but
if anyone is a karting genius id love to know what kind of lap
times are possible in the Sunday 100 Karts.
Cheers

I have done 50.49 there in sunday 100 kart, not been for a while but used to go in between racing the old Formula TKM karts. I think that was the fastest time for ages but at this time of year it gets all a bit sketchy as you come on to the straight, generally just enough shade/damp on that corner to bury you in the pit wall!

I have a pic of me stood under the lap timing board with the time in the background!!!!

As long as you are flat out round the first turn, and flat through the chicane in the middle-the place where you can lose/make time is on the last complex of the 2 180's before you get back to the straight.
However a lot people do lift at the first turn and in a pro kart that will hurt the time.Don't try it in the wet though unless you want a trip over that embankment!!!

As for being 4 secs off the pace looking at an old timing sheet, the ave seems to be 52-53s through the race in a team of three pretty light,v-experienced karters so after a couple of events you would be up in the 52s probably so if you set the 54 first time thaats not too bad
