Will be there with the radical SR3. Should hopefully be able hold off those pesky cup cars this time!
Decided against taking the Superleggera then? Doubt it's under 105db!
The SL will be there too!

Can't get time off work for the radical only day in April, shame as will be great fun.
Hi Andy,

Shame you cant make the April Date. Would you like to be kept on the mailing list? If so, I can let you know of the next 'Exclusively Radical' Trackday. Drop me an email via the 'email me' function through pistonheads or directly at radicaloc@googlemail.com.

Cheers,
Will

Anyone going? I'll be there with my old man in our Caterham and a friend in his Radical SR4 for his first track outing in the car. Should be a good day, looking forward to doing the GP circuit.

Fine selection of cars in attendance!!!

I've taken enough shots, but I've never been IN a Radical, or a Superleggera, or a 997 cup, or a Caterham, or a... before(nudge nudge, wink wink rolleyeswhistle)

See you all there,

Scott

No bother. If I have to look in all the garages, I'll just happen across more desirable cars!! biggrin

I might even ask my mate if I can borrow his 120-300mm F2.8 cloud9 See how good a mate he is hehe

Cheers,
Scott

Says it's full on here http://res.goldtrack.co.uk/res_website.asp?supplie...

Could give them a call, see if they've had any cancellations.

RatBoy,

If Goldtrack permit sharing of garages, then you're welcome in mine; I've got Garage 3A - and will only have a Mini Cooper S in it. Also, noting your times around Silverstone from your profile, I suspect that you'll be driving in Group 2; I'm on my first track day - so I'm in Group 1. Therefore, there should be only one car in the garage at any one time anyway.

Feel free to join me.

Cheers guys, if you see my car in your garage in the morning dont be alarmed..!
I did get one, however its near Copse.... which is many moons from the canteen..! and the tyre truck.. so i will most likely opt for 3A or 6B..!

A Cooper S... is a lot quicker than you think...! great fun car.. it will suprise you..!

Excuse my ignorance here but are people allowed to spectate at an event like this?

Was recently around Silverstone when another track day was in progress and just looked like the gates were open - are you able to park on the inside of the track and have a walk around the garages for instance?

Looks tempting, if the weathers okay I'll see if I can get an afternoon slot.

What's the criteria between group 1 and 2 ? Mine's a bit slow down the straights.

It's more about experience than speed.

Andrew,

The event is full; however, if you contact Melindi at Gold Track there might be a cancellation. It's an all day event too - not morning or afternoon; Group 1 - the novices - drive in 30 minute sessions commencing on the hour, with Group 2 containing the intermediates for 30 minutes on the half hour. The first driving session starts at 9 am and the final one ends at 5 pm.

Great day out... biggrin and only 1 spin @ Abbey on cold Cups... doh..! thanks to the elise who missed me..! couldnt get the engine to fire up after a stall to get out of your way i'm afraid..!
Got a good reasonable set-up by the afternoon, still too much understeer going into woodcote, but pretty good all in all.. Bridge at 90 coming out at 100mph is still a rush..!

Cheers for sharing the garage Delbox.. didnt catch you before you sneaked off at lunchtime.. to give you a few laps in mine.. but next time..! change your front brakepads to something a little more 'track focused' and the cooper S will be fine..! its all a bit scary 1st time out.. but stick with it, its really rewarding once you get in the zone..!

Blast... wink

Hi Roger!

Good to meet you and thanks for the advice when we spoke. However, it all got a bit much for me during the noon session - so I decided that discretion was the better part of valour and packed it in.

Another time, perhaps!
