Not as quick as some on here, but on my way home from the ring I managed to blag 20 mins with an instructor during a trackdsy
Best lap approximately 3.23 in a Focus ST on road tyres which I was pretty impressed with.. Instructor said it was quick.. But then they all do don't they? Gotta keep the customers happy.
Dont know what it is about 3:23/3:20, I have known Historic Race car owner who struggle to out of that bracket. Not as quick as some on here, but on my way home from the ring I managed to blag 20 mins with an instructor during a trackdsy

Point with Spa is that you do not need to use the kerbs, all corners can be negotiated with one application of lock.
Dont worry about ER being taken flat, its not usually the section that can bite, its the ridge at Le Radillion that cause's the big accidents.
Clip point on the approach should be around two thirds up the hill and making sure the car is settled and in the straight ahead position, only slight left lock being required AFTER exiting LR.
Most "flat" attempts require a lot of kerb at the turn in at the approach, missing the clip point on the right going up and generally getting the exit wrong.
Correct turn in for ER is really tight right to the pitwall until you arrive at the marshals post (red) at the bottom, not on the opposite side of the track as this invariably involves correction or braking up the hill.
Each to thier own.
Low 2:54 in a Mugen spec Teg Type R (DC5) with 250bhp on track day tyres RE08's I think with 2 people on board. Fastest lap of the day and in hinsight a tad too committed for a track day.
That was doing 96mph through Eau Rouge which is scary! You get a fairly large slide on turning right.
Best track in the world, so much fun.
I have the data log somewhere.

Lotus Elise 111R - totally standard (in fact the brake pads were not great!)

Link below has some of the "highlights" (by that I mean overtakes) on that day...

For oversteer in the previous year in the previous car (HONDA S2000 3m03s again totally standard);

Love SPA.
My favourite track, by far!!!

Here's my effort from the RMA trackday yesterday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xV2cSI7DbFE
Managed a 2:35 at the very end of the second day after the traffic died down. Tyres by this point had done two full days (100 laps) so were on there way out and the tank had just been brimmed with 110 litres. Sure there is a low 2:30 in it with weight down and new tyres.
As you will see I ran out of grip (or was that talent?) at the end!!

Thread resurrection, but a friend and I did an RSR premium day on 16th July, in a 1996 MX-5 1.8 running on Bilsteins with Eibach springs, Federal RSR trackday rubber, yellowstuff pads and K&N, in perfect but warm conditions, I managed a 3.32.15 (Harry's Lap Timer), one up. Its hardly a standard car, but can't wait to see what a turbo might do to that time.

You were certainly holding your own from what we saw! I don't suppose you know what the blue mx5 on Colorado plates was running? That thing looked mental but we didn't see it move while we were there.
