Do they check insurance documents when you enter the ring?
I've spent the past few hours on the phone and no one will supply third party cover.
I can get my own car covered but not third party.
What do people do? hope they don't crash into someone else?
I can only assume you have read none of the above thread then.I've spent the past few hours on the phone and no one will supply third party cover.

I went there a few weeks ago on a tourist day. I checked with my insurance company and after an initial no, I reasoned with them that it was a derestricted toll road in the EU and that as it wasn't excluded in the policy I bought from them they should insure me. They agreed. I was covered. Thankfully I didn't hit anything or anyone.

any change in this status quo ?
Would be great if someone started offering 3rd party cover. After all, most incidents dont affect 3rd party.

So, replacement ARMCO - 3rd Party? The hospital bill for the biker that slips on your spilt fluids from your 'off' - 3rd Party? The legal bill and compensation when said biker succumbs to his/her injuries - 3rd Party?
I could go on.

i didnt see anyone bite the dust on oil when i was there. i would imagine thats is a very rare occurrence.
armco / closure valid.
Plenty of video shows bikers coming off on someone else oil: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqyF-9Ro1dkarmco / closure valid.
And they are only where someone can be bothered to film it on some days. Based on plenty of video from a few corners on a few days. I'd say it's reasonably common enough to want to insure against.

Certainly not rare, ask the poor biker who has comprehensivly written his bike off and caused an hours track closure whilst the armco was replaced. All because a driver decided to drive on for around a kilometer with a burst raditor hose before stopping, all of which falls under "Third Party".armco / closure valid.
He was quite happily chatting to his two mates on the other side of the armco when I drove past (fortunately spotting his coolant spill) before arriving at the spot.
I wonder how he feels tonight?
o dear. perhaps it is worse than i thought then.
How many people use the ring per day vs how many people cause 3rd party damage excluding armco?
Im sure someone could make some money on that?
Is someone crashing on your dropped fluid really liable? Surely its for them to be driving at a safe speed to suit the conditions. Fully knowing there could be oil, mud, diesel, grass, flat-squirrel at any point as is the case on any road.

Right, your going balls out into Angst-nice warm sunny day and someone has dumped a radfull of water. What happens next?
Tracks get slippery after natural water has dropped onto it so just because someone has filled thier rad with it makes no difference-try arguing that one with the ticket office marshals-they deserve a good laugh.

There's an uphill right that features in quite a few incidents (2:18 for instance). including bikes.
What's tricky about that corner - oil, maybe??

That's Ex-Muehle - probably the camber change, it goes from positive to neutral quite quickly, plus people tend to be on the gas quite hard as they are going uphill after a slow section past the exit at Breidsheid. There's an uphill right that features in quite a few incidents (2:18 for instance). including bikes.

No one is arguing except for you. Worringly for someone who touts themselves as an experienced racer, your knowledge seems to be lacking.Tracks get slippery after natural water has dropped onto it so just because someone has filled thier rad with it makes no difference-try arguing that one with the ticket office marshals-they deserve a good laugh.
Water is less slippery than coolant and this is why some series require its use. No one has suggested that water will not cause a lack of adhesion, apart from you in order to create an foolish argument.
