My old Gti-6 being... odd.

That front left shows exactly why radial tyres and road cars are no good on a race track. You'll see that a lot in these pictures; tyres bent over on the rim. You need huge camber to run a radial tyre which you can't have on a road car as for 99.99% or more of the miles they do are done in straight lines. The main time you need grip on the road is when you brake which is another reason not to have much neg camber. You need a proper track car for motorsport.

That looks like Curborough - they have had their booking for this Thursday changed by the owners to Friday, so now there is space if you are available on Friday, with a £20 discount off the normal price.

Thanks for the heads up
I'd love to but Im busy and I need new front tyres
After taking my e36 for its first track time in my possession I discovered it needed new front tyres
I should of knew they would be rubbish as it had sat for 18 months before I brought it so it ended up trying to carry straight on round the top bend

I like the new figure of 8 layout

Its a lot better now, more to do as you have to turn left round a proper corner now

From Curborough Sprint last Friday.

My 5.5 at speed.

Hard on the brakes for a tight bend.
This is with 500lb springs with the new 46mm Nitrons turned up to pretty hard!

And finally, the tail end of a spin!

Never did the original although I'm sure this must be better as it adds more interest.

I really enjoyed it and I am going back next month!
