Ever been in a car on proper wets? No more reason to end up in the gravel in the radical than anything else, and a lot less on proper wets than on road tyres in anything..

Ah, right - road tyres to race wets is about the same order of magnitude as wet track->dry track on road tyres.

I went onto the corner too fast (110 mph) and on the wrong line, due to overtaking just before the corner (and lack of skill), lost the back end mid-corner, and made an instant choice between slamming on and sliding sideways, but straight, in the direction of travel, or trying to catch the back end, snapping back the other way, and going anywhere, but most likely into the barrier on the right. Right is where the track goes next, left is the pit entrance. Track is Mallory Park.

My 1st ever Trackday in my own car was at The Ring.

Done a few driver experience days beforehand but defo got the bug to do a few more now.

Sadly no longer have my 350 due to an impending arrival which means it has now made way for an E90 335i :-(

Mine from Anglesey on Monday. Finally starting to get it tidied and looking how I want. Only taken 8 years... Still quite a lot I want to do, but mostly cosmetic and should look even better for Croft in July.






Apologies to the PH`er who came up to have a chat (Tony ?) and I was a bit `off` with. I`d just found the exhaust manifold had cracked which ended up stopping the day at 11:30am. I didn`t want to talk. Sorry about that.
