Yes. The old 'GusBus' biggrin

370 bhp. 1170kg. 5 speed H pattern. Big brakes. Bit of aero. Lots of little mods over the years have made it a good endurance racer.

Not the fastest in class (as the high power CSLs etc make miles more power) but it is hard as nails! Now getting a bit long in the tooth, but still makes me smile.

Gets off the line well, too smile

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kVp2Bn5NWc I know it was rolling...

Sounds fit here smile

Brilliant. Would have liked to have seen the whole first lap rather than just the start too.

It may interest you to know that that's identical to Jason Plato's best time in an Esprit Sport 350 for Evo magazine a while ago :-)

Angus whats that sillystone layout? not seen that set up before.

1170kg wow, my yellow peril that Harrys got now was 1312kg with just a splash of juice, still steel panels & glass but lordy to loose 140kg off it is good going.

Is it still the same GT shell as years ago?

Is the Arena GP layout.

It has no trim in it and has a racing wiring harness

The 3 cars made were mine, Crispin's and Mike Richardson's (which became mine). Mine was the only non-GT and is the GusBus. The Richardson car was sold to Johnny Finfast and the Crispin car was sold to Andrew Mulholland.

Not sure where they are now, but mine is the only one that has been further developed and made faster.

I won't develop it further but will race it where eligible.

That is interesting, thanks. smile

For some reason the track was just really quiet towards the end of the day and I got a chance for a lot of clear laps to TRY and master the track. (still a long way from that)

You can see from this video how clear the track was: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTTLlsM2o8M
(A reasonable lap time, but not my best)

In my Ford Puma I have managed to lap the Indy circuit in 1 minute dead.
Pretty chuffed with that but dying to dip into the 59sec barrier.

Pretty much a standard engine, but plenty of modifications everywhere else on the car... smile

Knew the racers wouldn't be able to resist this thread!

So, here's mine - 55.2 in a 1380 classic mini, 600kg, slicks and about as road legal as a dodgy minicab!
