Didn't really cook them as I knew I'd have issues, so just stayed as light as possible on them...

Aww thanks Martin smile

I'd bet your lap time would be awesome! Have you ever timed any? I'll never forget watching your car just f'ing off when I tried chasing it! To this day I still haven't seen another car accelerate away like that... flames, noise and sideways out of druids.. brilliant! smile

52.3 in my M3 on used slicks. Could. not. go. faster.

A decent driver probably could though.

Now don't be joking, it's more than decent even on the slicks.

Managed 57.5 on my road bike (2005 ZX6R) and best ive managed in my car (Honda Civic on R888s) is 58.85s however ive just stripped 200kg from the car & with a little more time to play with the suspension so hoping to lower this by a couple seconds next time smile

I've done a 51.4 on a 125 GP bike (Honda RS) - looking forward to giving it a crack in a track day car, although I must pull my finger out and get one sorted first . . . been talking about it for ages, but I think I may be asking some questions in here before I do!

Well as you can't time on a track day, all those times must be on test/race days! Here's mine 46.7s

Found this thread whilst trying to research the sort of lap times I should aim for in my old e21 track car. I'm doing a sprint event in September and would like to get a bit quicker. I am neither talented or experienced though and a bit of a lard arse to boot.

Anyway, started off putting in 1.08's. After a few laps and some advice started doing 1.03's and eventual best of 1.01.

I really need some advice on set-ups for Brands. I realize cars differ but, generally speaking, do I need a pretty stiff set up compared to other places I have driven, such as Bedford Autodrome? I know that back in the day the pro drivers could pedal a 323i County Race car around in 55 - 56 seconds. I know my car has a bit less power but my goal is to break the 1 minute.

I guess I could always buy a chipped 335 diesel?

This is my old e21.
