Negotiating Salary

The consultant told me that after talking to the client. I perhaps could have played my cards closer to my chest but I know they have placed someone else on the same salary so it might be the truth.

Thanks for everyone's though. After being slightly complacent about my career I am trying to get to where I feel I should be as quickly as possible.
