Well I got the day off (obviously) and also got the pay rise I have been waiting for since February... due to the delays and lack of communication, they have given me a 15% rise!!!

Granted, 15% of not much isn't that great but it is a rise! I can't complain smile Now to get my head down and get on...

You're being given a lot of bad advice here. Your COE is a lot more than the statutory statement you signed and they have the right to implement what was in your letter of engagement.

Be careful if you don't want to ruin your relationship though that seems pretty poor in any case. Not surprising as you seem to have an unappreciative employer and very little commitment to the job anyway

Wow - my place gives you an extra day after FIVE years!!
