So I just found out today (Payday) that since I'm leaving at the end of the week, I will not be paid until Friday. However I found this out today, after my direct debits etc have come out my account.

And the worst part? My notice period was technically up on Monday, in which case I'd have been paid and it would have cleared in my account today. I arranged to stay on till the end of the week as a goodwill gesture and to help sort things out.

Really boils my piss.

Fortunately after some phone calls, I'll get a couple of charges from the bank I expect unless I can sweet talk them on the phone this evening, but the other creditors are all happy to wait until next week without putting fees on my account.

Why do people insist on stting on you when you do them a good turn, it's so I don't not turn up apparently. Even though I DON'T HAVE TO TURN UP BECAUSE I SHOULD HAVE ALREADY FINISHED!!!

I'm not sure it really needs to be here, I guess it does.

It was more a general rant on the way things always seem to go pear shaped when you try and do the right thing.

Ah well, I'm calm and normal again now wink
