I went in to a 30 day consultation on Nov 1st and have since been informed that I am in the displaced group should the proposal go ahead (which I am certain it will).

My employer is saying that no figures will be issued to me until the consultation period is over though. Is that normal, and correct?

Although our HR policies are widely available on our intranet and I have read and pretty much understand what I will be receiving it feels a little odd that they are not sharing with me yet what the actuals are.

Any advice or experience appreciated.

In the normal course of things you would not get figures until your role is confirmed as redundant. If they were accepting volunteers though then you would normaly get your figures upon request before your decision is made.

Cool, thanks. I'm not officially 100% confirmed so will just wait. There wasn't the oppurtunity to volunteer either so that clears that one up.

If they gave you the figures before the end of the consultation they would be breaching the terms of this and so cost them a whole packet.
