Chaps.

In a fix. Tried to make a go of my own business. Didn't work out.

Good, recent experience in Business Process Analysis/Change Management/ Project Management in the car leasing sector. All very transferable - did quite a bit of Agile PMing and used Lean methods on quite a few process change projects.

Notice a LOT of BA work in finance/banking at the moment with bank systems integration, AML, KYC, Basel II etc - and unlike government work, they aren't demanding Prince2 etc (which I don't currently have)

I am looking for and applying for roles on Jobserve, Hays, CityJobs, ITJobs and others.

BUT with a diverse commercial background, I expect I will have a much better chance directly networking with PMs or project leaders who need a mature, commercially aware analytical thinker to get onboard a project.

I am looking in finance and IT integration that is where the most roles seem to be - but would happily work in any sector in any region in any country. I am mobile and can relocate at the drop of a hat.

Any of you know of any leads, feel free to drop me a PM or email to johnfm69@gmail.com

To those I have already PM (you know who you are) thanks for the help so far. It is appreciated.

A bump.

Seems pretty tough out there. Either my CV is really bad or there are loads of out of work BAs hitting these boards.

Lots of jobs advertised on CityJobs, Efinancial etc and I have been approached by several agencies in the past 2 months. I have politely answered their questions, ensured they have latest CV and given them written permission to represent me with their clients. Any feedback whatsoever.....was there b***ocks mad

I am under the impression that most agencies employ low level amoebas who's approach to filling a role is based on the scatter gun model.

Recruitment agencies are the new estate agents with very few exceptions.

I got a call the other day from one in response to an application.

Very keen, suggested I was perfect for the role blah blah blah - not heard a thing since.

Very odd.

No probs.

There does seem to be a plethora of finance/banking BA/PM jobs on the market at the moment.
