I have an opening for a graduate engineer for a period of 12 to 18 months. The role is aligned to a specific organisation-wide project and sits within the Manufacturing Engineering discipline. It would suit a grad looking for their first engineering based role. We are an engineering and manufacturing business within the Aerospace sector located in Middlesex.

PM me for more details. Interviews starting next week for an immediate start.

I have another requirement for a graduate engineer to rotate/float across the Quality and Manufacturing Engineering disciplines. The initial contract would be for circa 9 months but there may be an opportunity to extend.

I am looking for another graduate engineer for a fixed term placement to run to April 2014.

I have managed to hire 2 young engineers so far who have contacted me in/directly through this site. This would be a good first job for a recent graduate or somebody with a little experience but who may want some exposure to the Aerospace industry. The role would equally suit somebody who has perhaps NVQ/HND Engineering qualifications.

Hi Ed,
I am a long time visitor to the forums but have only just signed up! Anyway I was wondering if you could PM me some details regarding the above vacancy you have available. I hold a BEng in Mechanical Engineering (2:1) Hons from Aston University, while also having worked for a Large Aerospace company (Meggitt) on a fixed term basis (as a lean manufacturing engineer). Did try to PM you but as i just signed up it seems i have to wait 24 hours.

Thanks

I will have 2 more positions in 2014. They will be short term contracts initially from January to April/May. The roles will be suitable for those looking for their first job and a foot in the door or perhaps those who have completed a sandwich degree. Alternatively you may have come up from the HND/C route and are still at the beginning of your career.

3 engineering graduate/undergraduates required for a quick start for a temporary assignment circa 3 to 4 months. A good foot in the door or a good way to get some practical work experience of the aerospace sector onto your CV to help build your career.

Do drop me a PM so I can pick it up tomorrow at work. If you are already part way through your academic year the timing might not be right. However, nothing ventured nothing gained. The work will be focused on the manufacturing and quality engineering disciplines.

Still looking. If you are looking for a foot in the door to get something on your CV in order to start an engineering career this could be for you. Perhaps you graduated last year with an engineering degree and took some temporary office work or went travelling for a few months and are looking for a break into engineering.

Are all these opportunities Middlesex based?

The roles are in Middlesex only and are only short term in nature. You might be applying for engineering grad schemes to start later in the year and this could be a CV filler or that little bit of extra paid practical experience you need to stand out from the crowd.

The site/company is part of a much larger group which is one of the biggest aerospace designer/manufacturers in the world. We supply to all the usual big household name OEMs in the commercial and military sectors.
