Note: I am not seeking work for cash, this is strictly a a personal skills swap.

I have a small house in London that needs modernising, so have started to look at youtube videos and so on. But my experience is elsewhere, so wanted to see if anyone fancied a fair skill swap. Much prefer typing to hammering smile

I am Microsoft certified programmer by trade, so if your business needs:
- general advice
- database solutions
- spreadsheet solutions
- slow computer/new computer advice/setup/upgrade
- automating any task you repeat regularly
- Reporting
- Analysis/management of large data
- a web presence
and so on then get in touch.

Anyone else in the same boat, feel free to post your skills too.

Why would a tradesman who is a plumber, etc.... want IT skills?

Even more than that, why would they want to know in depth IT skills in database, etc?

Seems like the only one who wins in this is yourself.

Seemed like a fairly obvious question to me?

I did the accounts for a friends gardening business. He did £350 worth of gardening. It does work, but you'd have to be fairly lucky to get a match through PH. Good try though.

I think you're missing the point. Its trading skills rather than teaching each other.

If a tradesman needs his IT setting up, the OP will do it in exchange for the tradesman giving some of his time at the stuff he's good at.

I'm an ex RN Weapons Engineer, so if anyone needs their Phalanx Close in Weapons Systems fixing, I need some general gardening doing smile
