Hi All,

I have been asked to produce a presentation for my second interview based on what I would do in my first 6 months in the job. I am awaiting details from HR, but thought I should start with some preparation.

There is loads of information on presentations for the first 90 days at a company, but not 6 months. Any advice on how to structure it? Should it be broken down into 6 sections based on each month?

Anyone with experience of this?

Any input would be greatly appreciated on how you would tackle this.

It depends entirely on what role you are looking to apply for..... that would help.

My advice would be to look at the job description that was provided and see what they are looking for and make a presentation expelling how you are a) suited to the role and b) what your skill set can do for each of the requirements.

Essentially: Why are you good for this job, what do you aim to do and how are you going to do it.

Just a thought....

I guess it depends on the role but I have done similar for sales roles and broke it down into the first couple of weeks, first month, then quarter then followed on with the remainder of the time.

I did around 5 slides with bullet points and talked around them.

If you cannot complete such a straightforward task then it seems unlikely to have the experience to carry out the role.

What's a 'channel' sales role?

Ok, googled it.

Will you be field sales, seeing potential buyers face to face, and what will you be selling?
