Im thinking of applying to uni to do a foundation degree in nautical science at for 2015.
This will be a back up. If i dont get any apprenticeships.
I will try to apply for every apprenticeship that catches my interest up to a maximum of 30.
If you want to get into Engineering, a degree is a wise decision. Completing it at 25 will not be a problem.

Just a quick update.

This year i was successful.
I applied for about 15 apprenticeships and got interviews for all of them and got offered a position at the second company i had an interview for, which was luckily the best id applied for.

Ill be working in defence electronics in Southampton.

I cleared SC last week and I got my welcome letter this morning.
I start on the 7th September.

Thank you to everyone who gave me advice on this thread last year.
