What further development courses

Hi,
Well out of the blue I have been told there's money in the pot for some personal education. But I'm unsure on what to do.
After leaving school at 16 I went and served till I was 26 during that I managed my NVQ's in maths English and telecoms.
I work as a warehouse manger for a global brand where I started shadowing the old manger until he retired. I'm not looking to leave but just want to get some courses that will benefit my self now and if I leave it will help securing a new job.
All we got told is it has to benefit the company in the short term but personally in the long term. And can be multiple short courses or 1 long courses with a value of £1500.
So any advice will be greatly appreciated

I am just starting a level 5 diploma in management and leadership offered by the Chartered Management Institute. I am doing it via the National Extension College - a distance learning company - as I couldn't find a local college that did it part time after hours. It takes 12-18 months according to their timetable.
