CSCS card management test
Discussion
Has anyone done this?
I have applied for a 'White card' as I have college qualifications and have been informed that I need to take this test to get a 'White card'.
I have heard that the standard test are reasonably simple and quite a lot of common sense is needed.
Is this the same for the management test? I have mine booked for tomorrow so haven't really got time to order any revision books. I have however just carried out an SMSTS course a few weeks ago so all of that info is reasonably fresh in my mind. I am hoping that the majority of the questions will be similar.
Thanks all

It's a piece of piss.
One of the questions I got was something like ;
People on illegal drugs are;
A. Dangerous in the workplace.
B. Faster and more productive.
C. Something I can't remember.
Choose one.
Some look like joke questions they are so stupid. Common sense and experience and you should walk it

There can be some tricky questions though. I wouldn't personally go into a test assuming I'll pass. Especially as the pass rte is quite high.
There are often 2 possible correct answers and 2 ridiculous answers. It wouldn't hurt doing a mock test online.
Just made this mistake .There are often 2 possible correct answers and 2 ridiculous answers. It wouldn't hurt doing a mock test online.
Went in to confident and assumed a pass would be nice and simple. Failed it by one or two marks. I have now downloaded mock tests on an app and will re book next week so that will give me a bit of time to swot up.
Knew the marks were quite tight as well but for some reason thought you were allowed to get more than 4 incorrect.
That will teach me.
Yeah all your fault!!
No, no one is to blame apart from myself. I should of booked it a bit further away and atleast given myself a chance to look at some mock tests and a read up on things.
The majority were simple, just the odd few that threw me. Couple of scaffolding questions that got me and I haven't looked at the official scaffolding regs for a while.

I was working as project supervision on utility sites so have the eusr cards for that.
Planning on going on to building sites after as I have college qualifications and others that I can use for building sites. The company I was working for were meaning to put me through a couple f courses, cscs cards, smsts and a few more but decided to make me redundant instead. Very nice of them I must admit!
Anyway decided to do them off my own back to make me more employable.

The scaffold ones are a bit strange I find. Even us in office jobs need to know. Bit strange really. No, no one is to blame apart from myself. I should of booked it a bit further away and atleast given myself a chance to look at some mock tests and a read up on things.

I need one of these, I am not sure which one though, green CSCS, CITB operatives H&S environment test I think.
I am going to share the driving with a mate who has a "man in a van" business on a 600 mile trip, the pick up is from a site requiring a card and I am taking the test on Tuesday apparently.
He tells me it is simple to pass but I have no material to swot up on, should I be worried?
I passed food safety, COSH, first aid, fire safety, fork truck licence easily but I would like to have a look at a sample test first.

They have stopped the 'operatives' green card now as it was not specific enough. The Labourers green card also requires health and safety qualifications.
I've got a white Construction Related Occupation Card which has been accepted by every site I have been on. You just need to select occupations that are close to yours. But check as some occupations require you to pass extra tests or be part of a trade organisation etc.
Or just get a Yellow 'Visitors' card if you not working on site. What card does your mate have?
