Have you considered learning to write phone apps?

You could work at your own pace as your own boss and publish yourself or pimp out your skills to the market.

It probably wouldn't be good as a primary job, but would you consider mystery shopping? I did this for a few years and many of my later assignments were phoning call centres, rather than visiting premises. You pick up as much if as little as you like so it's very flexible. I'm happy to pm you details of the company if you're interested.
