Chaps, if anyone who works in care (due to assisting with medicine and his wheelchair) is interested in a different position, you can be Frank Williams assistant going around the world.

Probably get a lot of perks and a pretty good kick for the CV.

Perks would be good. But I can imagine it's a pretty 'personal' job

Might well be a very 'personal' job but if you were in that line of work and love F1 there are likely to be few gigs you'd rather get.

To be fair, £150 is a decent wage for a carer.

It is about twice what a " Normal" carer would earn and if he had an interest in F1 it'd be a dream job I think.

This job gets advertised nearly every year, guessing he isn't the nicest guy to care for. Also annoys me that only men can apply.

Six shifts per week, £43k per annum, plus all the perks of travelling the World with an F1 team.

I originally read that as "£150 a st"

I'll get me coat.

Why? I feel if there is a level of personal care involved then he should be ale to specify men, if he is more comfortable with it. And obviously the reverse would be true.

Dunno why but it reminds me of Mr Burns and Waylon Smithers.

There is a particular term, something like genuine occupational qualification or genuine occupational requirement, which allows perceived discrimination like this to be permissible.

I would have thought how nice he is is less relevant to the nature of the travel that this role might entail. How many personal carers would expect something like that? How many would think that trvaelling around the world seems like a good idea at first but ultimately becomes a chore? If you were doing a really interesting job, were able to see the world or earning lots of money then that would be more acceptable.
