Maybe it's the fact that patience isn't my strongest virtue but I'm getting nervous at receiving my result.

Surely it should have been marked by now? I'd rather find out I failed earlier than later. It won't hit me so hard then.

How long does it usually take the BCS (?) to mark the papers and show you your result?

I tried it and didn't come up, but I used my name and there is a possibility it hasn't yet been marked.

<sigh> I'll try again next week or something. It's been 2 weeks today.

They do, but I'm impatient and thought they may have marked it already.

I'll have to remain calm for another week and just wait for the result.

Just got my result back. I failed. By 1%.

Balls.

I've rebooked it for this Friday as I'm determined to pass it.

Away from the exam, I know most of what is required. Even in general conversation I can pin point what needs doing when some of my PM friends throw scenarios at me.

Passing this exam is doing my head in now. I need the cert to show that I can do the work as well as get past the recruitment bullst. I still can't believe it was only 1% that I failed by.

Honestly? It was definitely harder than the first and time wasn't on my side but I managed all the questions. Controlling a stage caught me out a little again but as long as I pass it, it doesn't really matter. I really dislike the way they ask questions on the paper as it just won't be like that in practical terms working in a PM type role, I imagine.

Finding bloody PMO roles is difficult as well as some of the roles ask for previous experience. But that will be a topic for another thread.

I just don't want to fork out any more money for this. smile

Actually, yes. I failed. But it was my fault entirely. I got to the exam late (train issues from Watford) but still tried to do the exam. Result were worse than before too.

I think I'm going to wait before booking it again. I'm trying to find a junior PM role now so that I can get the company to pay for the exam when I'm ready.

Quite gutted but in all fairness, the exam was a lot harder than before.

Personally, I've done the exam twice so am pretty confident I can take the interviews well.

However, I'm not giving up. Just need to find the right time to do the exam as dealing with 3 kids and a poorly father are taking up too much brain power at present.

I'd love to keep this thread going though, to help others who may be in the same situation.

Well done CAPPO.

I'm going to start revising again as I have a little time to myself to do so now. Although I'm not sure I want to sit the exam via The Knowledge Academy as there is no Practitioner help that is given, only methods of taking the exam.

It seems that all the interviews I've been to recently put a huge emphasis on obtaining the Practitioner. A bit sad really as I'm sure real world experience would be far better (but I have minimal there too. Drat.).

Anyone recommend any other Training centres bar TKA around Watford/London?
