Hi there.

I am currently employed in a job which allows me to ride a Yamaha FJR1300 all day long, at pretty much what speed I like......within reason of course, and was just wondering what other two wheeled jobs people on here have.

It is great fun, without a doubt the best bit of the job I do. I am not a traffic officer, don't do pursuit, just response to incidents and general patrols, school visits, community events etc, and generally just having fun.

I have wondered what other 2 wheeled jobs people do, as the Police really is getting worse and worse and I, like quite a few are looking for ways out. Don't get me wrong, i'm not going to sit here and say it rubbish, boo-hoo, feel sorry for me, but I have wondered if my skills could be transferred in something else a bit more rewarding to me and that I can see myself doing instead of what I do at present.

So, what other biker jobs have people on here got?
Are they Good? Rubbish? Great bosses? Pro's and Con's? I would love to hear what other people do

Ta ta, Mark.

No experience of it myself, but the only thing I can think of is motorbike courier. If I was to do it, I would research setting up on my own rather than anything else. Surely if you have your own bike, there is very little in the way of set up costs.

Insurances (above and beyond the normal vehicle insurance) ie Goods in Transit etc.
Website

Then batter the door down (figuratively) with lots of high tech companies that either need small parts/equipment, confidential plans/documents or super urgent stuff that needs moving between offices across the country.

Any industries that sell small items in a B2C format, that could really benefit from same day delivery?

Where are you based? Logic would say that this is probably only viable in and around London and M4 corridor

And there endeth my brain-dump smile
