We are currently recruiting for a number of Senior Technical Specialist roles, based in Swindon and paying between £40,721 - £52,032
In this role you will be taking business requirements and outline architectures and turning them into designed solution designs, ensuring the appropriate governance and over-site and quality assuring partner system development.
You will take the lead on larger technical design and act as the first point of control for questions and queries about the technical solution on a given piece of work.
We're looking for IT professionals with extensive experience in a systems analysis and design role across several domains:
Payments
Experience of UK Payments platforms, including Cheques, Faster Payments, Link, Visa, Mastercard.
Experience of Payments business systems.
Exposure to ZAPP and PAYM would be an advantage.
A strong development or design background in, .NET, C#, SQL Server, Web Services.
Experience of design and development on Biztalk.
Experience of UML and IBM RSA or equivalent.
Digital/ Mobile
Experience of Digital development, mobile applications, preferably in financial services.
Experience of designing performant, scalable and secure transactional web applications.
A strong development or design background in, .NET, C#, SQL Server, Web Services, MVC, HTML5, iOS, Android.
Experience of UML and IBM RSA or equivalent.
Middleware
Extensive experience of real time systems integration and SOA.
Experience of integration across a broad range of technologies, plus cloud hosted services, preferably in financial services.
Experience of queuing solutions such as MQ and MSMQ.
Experience with ESB packages, particularly WebSphere Message Broker.
Knowledge of WCF, WDSL, REST, SOAP, JSON, BPEL.
Experience of UML and IBM RSA or equivalent.
Information Management
Experience of designing and developing data warehouses using various data modelling techniques, preferably in financial services.
Track record of delivering IM solutions on a variety of platforms.
Strong understanding of the end -2-end IM method.
A strong development or design background in SQL server, SSIS and other IM technologies
Experience of UML and IBM RSA and IDA.
Infrastructure
Experience of a broad range of hardware including mainframes, servers, desktops associated operating systems.
Proven technical analysis skills. A track record in delivery of infrastructure projects. A good understanding of communications/networks.
Knowledge of virtual environment management, VDI, Citrix and/or security methodologies.
