Instant quitting of a job

i appear to be un-employable / un-interviewable. I've applied for so many jobs yet not one interview. I am lost now
Tricky to add much without knowing what you're applying for and what you sent in.People who write too much can just as easily be binned because it's too much to read vs. their actual skillet etc.

Its very easu to get negative, so you need to keep your head up.Job market has been very quiet over the last few weeks, holidays I guess.
Things normally pick up September/October and hten quiten back down in the run up for xmas.
Try revaamping your cv. Get it checked by people in the know that its up to expectations.

If anyone is happy to read my CV I'll be happy to send it to them.
I shouldn't have agreed to do my company a favour - more fool me.
I did it at my last job, never before have I said enough is enough, as I've always tried to see a situation right, but this was like you said affecting my health and well being.
I have a new found admiration for anyone that does quit a job, especially in this climate, and who has the pressures of bills etc.
I remembered something a friend said as I was deliberating "you spend three-quarters of your life working, so why waste your time in a job you hate.?". It gave me some strength as a handed the resignation letter. Once I did then it felt like a massive weight had been lifted.
I didn't have a job to go to, but at least I could put that behind me and give it my all into getting a new job.

I currently no longer feel brave enough to just walk. Things are a little uncertain currently in my personal life as it is, and I worry too much about the threat of zero income after a few recent events. Did you manage to find a new job in a reasonable time frame?I have a new found admiration for anyone that does quit a job, especially in this climate, and who has the pressures of bills etc.

I was already looking and had put my CV etc online. However, however as you know its hard to meet recruiters when in full time work. The next day I rang them all and arranged meetings and got my face infront of them all rather than just being a name.
I did work in a pub for a month, too just to help keep the wolf from the door, which actually was great as I didn't have to think or make any decisions ( except which glass to use and this almost allowed my to de-stress and focus once again. Also it allowed me time to think what direction do I want to take.
I did find a job but I had to relocate. Fortunately / Unfortunately ( delete as you see fit) I didn't have a significant other, although two dogs that I've had to pass to relatives for the time being.
You don't realise how much an impact of your health stress can have and in time could/ will have a knock on effect to your 'out of work' life and relationships.

The last thing I'd do, especially when you're taking time off an existing job, is meet recruiters, they're often the sort who're working a ton of jobs and use their 'interview' to try and add value. They often cant find good candidates because they're spending all their time 'interviewing'
They dont understand the type of jobs, mainly because they're kids out of college or they've come into recruitment from sales.
A Skype = good
A call = good
Meet me for an hour and we'll do an assessment of your employability with some forms and I'll ask some questions = get fked.
If a recruiter cant suss you out inside of a 10 minute call they're fk all use to you

Oh it is having a massive effect on my health and on my relationship, more than any job ever should tbh. Relocation isnt possible for me as I have a life down where I live now, but travelling for a job isn't an issue. I would only ever speak to a recruiter on the phone, I have no time to go waste time meeting them. They dont understand the type of jobs, mainly because they're kids out of college or they've come into recruitment from sales.

Big thanks to the guys who have offered help to me, I really appreciate it. I've just finished a phone call for a job interview for tomorrow. Not sure if I'll get it, I am hoping that my personality wins them over if I don't meet what they want from a skills perspective but we will see. It's happened before on a few occasions so you never know!
Thanks again and I will keep you posted.
