Senior Software Engineet Level 6

Does anyone know the difference b/w Senior Software Engineer level 5 and 6. Job requires working on Government projects, just wondering if level reflects job responsibilities.

Not sure if you'll get a reply here...unless anyone has specific experience of gov contracts.

Not in government stuff myself, but I'd imagine there's not a whole load of difference.

Strangely I've only ever seen numbers be used by some US companies where:

1 - graduate / junior
2 - standard dev
3 - senior dev
4 - principle dev
