Jees you really need to address your attitude you've proved my previous point yet again.

Whose supercar have you been in? Yours? Oh apologies it was daddy's. When you have your own, bought with your own earnings then look at the stuff you've written here and you'll wince.

Be humble it will get you to places that being a spoilt arse won't

Whose supercar have I been in? Regardless of daddy which you have assumed yourself, I bought myself a Rosso Corsa F430 at aged 18... do you know anyone else who has managed that? Doubt it mate, if you do you can put me in touch with them.

True, he'll learn a few things about how not to behave with people hopefully. Loved the psychology student bit - clueless as to how that makes his bragging look so much more pitiful.
And i've changed my name to jobdone101 because of the envy here... I've secured myself a dream summer job and all you guys can do i hate and hate and hate

I forget which car it is you claimed to have bought at the age of 18, but you specifically said 'passenger seat' earlier in the thread. Why not mention that earlier (in a humble manner, rather than the bragging approach you otherwise adopted).

So you developed at app which made you lots of cash, but then pursued psychology at University. That field is in no way related to the app you claim, high paid jobs which you aspire to nor is it related to super cars.

I call bullst.
Call all the bullst you want - didn't mention it previously because if I had done everyone would've slammed me for driving a car daddy bought.

Anyway, i know who's position id rather be in, and I no longer need to explain myself to you muppets, goodbye.

I've got a bit of time for any 19yr old kid who decides they have a goal and tries to pursue a dream. Offering to work long hours with low pay for pretty much any role in the industry just to gain some experience.

Thinking back to when I was 19 I don't think I would've dealt very well with the criticism thrown his way on this thread from older/wiser heads and i'd say the thread has become a bit toxic through very little fault of the OP.

Back on topic - Good luck to the OP in finding the work experience and hopefully carving out a career in the supercar industry. At 19, I had no idea what I wanted to do in life and wish i'd been more focused in finding opportunities and following a career path earlier.

Whether the 430 part is true, or a untruth in response to a barrage of criticism is irrelevant IMO. When I was about 20 I set a goal of owning a Ferrari before my 30th birthday and thought that was ambitious!
Thanks for this - nice to see ambition is appreciated, I've learnt my lesson however that PH is not the place to do it!

Oooh look you share an IP...
Would just like to confirm that I don't know P30LAM although it is strange he has the same IP address. Judging by his garage, I know exactly who he is and lives in my local area, I see his cars regularly.

Do you guys not have anything better to do than slam a 19 year old?

Don't get the wrong impression about PH; it's just there is a certain posting style on here that takes some getting used to and there is always a little bit of ribbing.

The correct way to deal with someone on here who has posted something a little aggressive or abruptly, is to smile, post something along the lines of 'thanks for the help' and move on.

Don't retaliate or throw a strop. Oh, and for Christ sake, don't brag. Nobody on here is impressed and you'll only be asked to prove it. When you can't, you'll be reminded of it everytime you post until you create a new username or stop coming on.

Good luck with the job.
The only time I bragged was when this all got a bit too much... it isn't made up, just wanted people to realise I may know a bit more than I let on.

Thanks for your help though, appreciate it, all the best.

Oh dear God; OP is hilarious.

From 19 year old student, desperately trying to break into the 'supercar' industry with no thoughts of a career path to a Ferrari something-or-other owner who has made loads of money developing a mobile phone app... laugh

Love it!

Welcome to PH mate; please feel free to supply your own custard....
I didn't mention that because why is it relevant? Yes I got lucky, but I didn't make enough cash to live off... hence why I'm at university and looking for a career path, just like every other normal 19 year old.

My nephew bangs on about making an app to make his fortune and 'supercars' all the time too, rather naive but hes just 15 bless him. Hopefully he'll go to uni to study psychology engineering or computing so hes got the grounding not just the bullst.
You really do need to find something better to be doing - if you knew anything you'd realise that in this day and age it doesn't matter what you study at university, you're better off achieving success in something you love and are interested in and taking it from there. Best of luck to your nephew, I wish him all the best and I am sure he will succeed, however I certainly have all the grounding I need and none of the bullst you and your back up are coming out with.

These are two very different threads and it's worrying you can't see that - he is asking people what car to buy, lucky him for being in that privileged position in my opinion, but my thread is adversing myself for a job over summer... Wrong idea mate, can't help but think you and your wind-up merchant mates are really struggling for ammunition here...

How's your back up doing these days mate, still hanging in there? hehe
Haven't had any from the start - don't need it, like to think I'm capable of dealing with a handful of slightly twisted supposed car fans... some community this is where an ambitious 19 year old is slammed by a bunch of Honda Civics!

You're supposedly a 19 year old, mystery application developing, Ferrari driving student with an extensive understanding of supercars, "all the grounding you'll ever need" and a keyboard which randomly refuses to deactivate Caps Lock.

It's pretty fking hard to run out of ammunition mate.
Fair play... keep it coming mate, read what you just described me as, I'm fairly content with my life so far and I'm only 19! If I was phased by the petty and immature behaviour of people in life I wouldn't get very far, and I guarantee that the people on here who feel the need to have a dig have something wrong with them, perhaps an inferiority complex? Perhaps haven't quite got where they wanted to in life? Who knows, each to their own, all the best.
