Afternoon,

The job sites I've found on Google are very barren.

I would like some recommendations please, for sites that aren't just page after page of dodgy franchises and pyramid schemes.

It's 1st/2nd line IT analyst roles I'm after, permanent positions.

Cheers..

I use the following sites:-

Jobsite
Jobserve
CWJobs
Dice
LinkedIn

If I see a job advertised that is similar to what I am looking for but not quite right for any reason then I take a note of the agency name and register my CV with them.

Hope you find something soon

All IT recruitment firms worth their weight use Jobsite, Jobserve and CWJobs. Good luck

CV library seems among the best for layout and ease of use.

Indeed pack their listings with expired jobs in an effort to make them look like they have more legit roles than they do.

I appreciate the suggestions, I've had a few interviews from them.

There's a rather specialised role I've just applied for, since I miraculously have four years experience doing it in this dead-end job.
It's only more than double my current salary, it certainly would be nice to pull myself out of poverty so spectacularly.

Jobsite got me the most hits when I was last looking (18 months ago).

I also have a relatively okish LinkedIn profile which helps.

Have a look at the following

CV Library
Reed
Select Jobs.

All of the above have been useful to me in the past.

Seems it's 2008 again because 5 years experience isn't enough for these bus wkers [a multinational public transport company] to give an interview.

But they've relisted the position again in case some MIT grads missed it the first time around though, so that's nice.
